Anveshan Centre of Excellence: Capacity building, Training and Consulting services The Anveshan – Centre of Excellence (CoE) provides professional consulting and capacity development programs focusing on urban sanitation and waste management.

Leadership & Academic Programmes

  • Senior Official Training: Provide best-in-class leadership and administrative training to senior officials at the National, State, and ULB levels to holistically develop and manage sanitation and waste management initiatives.
  • Political Leadership Development: Design and implement training and development programs/refresher courses for political leadership at the city level, including Mayors and Ward Councillors, to build their capacities and sensitivity to holistically drive urban sanitation and waste management initiatives.
  • Academic Programmes: Offer world-class academic programs, both full-time and part-time, relevant to public policy, urban governance, and change management, for administrators, managerial and executive cadre, and frontline employees of corporations and local bodies.

Consultancy

  • Diagnostic Surveys and Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments using the CENA framework and perform diagnostic surveys to identify systemic issues and potential urban transformation targets for municipal corporations and local bodies.
  • Specialised Consulting Services for ULBs: Offer world-class consulting services to municipalities and local bodies, driven by  extensive diagnosis and problem identification, with a focus on comprehensive urban transformation activities.
  • Management Expertise and Fund Utilization: Play an instrumental role in providing management expertise and advisory services on the utilization of funds and leveraging support from corporate partners for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). This is aimed at transforming the delivery of municipal and civic services.

Knowledge Exchange and Collaboration

  • Bridge between ULBs and industry: Serve as a bridge between municipal corporations/local bodies and business/service organizations by undertaking initiatives to facilitate knowledge exchanges and explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Best Practices Repository: Develop and maintain a repository of best practices across the urban sanitation and waste  management value chain, covering operation and maintenance models, service delivery enhancement, and citizen engagement.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish partnerships with leading corporations and service organizations to create joint ventures that will professionalize the delivery of municipal and civic services for various cities and towns through curated partnerships involving technical, non-technical, managerial and financial arrangements between IIM Indore and other parties where IIM Indore provides management expertise to the client, the municipal corporations, and manages the utilization of funds from the corporate partner.
