MUMBAI: The fourth batch of the Customized Management Development Programme (MDP) for senior officials under IIM Indore's Centre of Excellence ANVESHAN, began on March 05, 2024. The four day programme aimed at enhancing the capacity of senior officials from various municipalities across the nation was inaugurated by Director, Prof. Himanshu Rai. Indore (Madhya Pradesh): IIM-Indore commenced a new batch of 21 Chief Municipal Officers (CMOs) with a Customised Management Development Programme on Tuesday. Prof Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, under the institute’s Centre of Excellence, ANVESHAN, inaugurated the batch. The four-day course will prioritise capacity building, emphasising practical skills and strategic insights on urban waste management. Mayors, councillors, municipal commissioners and other city officials will get B-school training at the Indian Institute of Management-Indore, where a centre of excellence focussing on water, sanitation, hygiene and waste management is likely to start in March.

Indore: The Indian Institute of Management, Indore, (IIM-I) on Tuesday launched a Centre of Excellence for Waste Management and WASH (water, sanitation & hygiene). The centre named 'Anveshan' will train officials of urban bodies, policy makers, welfare associations, hotels and hospitals in waste management and WASH. The first batch of trainees will include municipal commissioners from different parts of the country and training will commence from July 31, 2023.
